Layne Staley made a major impact on hearts, minds and eardrums of millions of people around the world. Troubled as he may have been, this Mighty musician was also one of the most sensitive and funniest personalities in the history of rock.
I Would? therefore like to remember his immense talent, his incredible vocal abilities and haunting lyrics by posting some of the most amazing live recordings from AIC concerts in the early 1990s.

Alice in Chains, Mad Season, Faith No More, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rage Against The Machine, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Paradise Lost, Type O Negative, Tool, Pink Floyd, Skin Yard, Nirvana, My Sister´s Machine, Mother Love Bone and basically everything that came out of Seattle in the early 90s and could hold a microphone and/or a guitar. To all of you interested to find out about new awesome bands I recommend Block Out (the most awesome thing to ever come from Serbia) and Sea Of Black (L.A. band doing some hot, new stuff).

I Would? very much like to say: A Layne Staley Biography. But until someone publishes a decent book about Layne, I´ll stick with "The Corrections" by Jonathan Franzen
