ya the techniques for mic-ing amps differ with the types of music your playing, not to mention the type of mic you use. get a Peavey Amp if you want a new amp. Better than the Marshall's imo.

tone on 10 is single coil, 7 and below is humbucker, 1 master volume switch. These guitars are so underrated its sick. They stomp any Fender or Gibson of the same era that wasn't 10 grand out the door from the custom shop.

this video is awesome, but like my professor in college he leaves out complicated examples like y''-3y'+y=2e^(2x)sin(x) or y''-3y'+2y=2x^(2)+3e^(2x). Which no one breaks down to explain common exponential products with other elementary functions and methods for solving such differential equations.

a great backup book to get for your standard textbook is Ordinary Differential Equations by Morris Tenebaum and Harry Pollard, explains things much better than most "up to date" O.D.E. textbooks!!!!

My only problem is lets hear the amp without the pedals. That amp should be able to sound very crunchy without the pedals.

They are both great bands, Pantera had a better vocalist and more powerful sounding tones. But Megadeth has better rhythm segments. Dime is a better lead guitarist than Mustaine, but Mustaine is a better rhythm guitarist than Dime.

The most important to EE is trigonometry, infinite series from Calculus 2, Vectors and Vector Fields from Calculus 3, and Differential Equations. Its not so bad, just takes time and there are plenty of online lectures on such topics freely available.

You can totally get a Marshall G30CDR 30W for a hundred bucks if you shop around. Its a great little amp. Its discontinued. One of the first solid state starter amps they were putting out. The Peavey Vypyr 30W has an edge over it (its more up to date) but its harder to use and is more than twice ...
