Talía decided to continue her studies at her dream School of the American Ballet, relocating to NYC, able to expand her dance abilities, training in other forms of dance including Contemporary, Modern, Ballroom & Latin, Jazz, etc., as well as to become and actress training and graduating from the William Esper Studio.
Today Talía, is the face of hundreds of commercials and print campaigns for the U.S. and abroad, for companies such as: American Express, American Airlines, AOL, British Airways, Coca Cola, Cooking Light Magazine, Discovery Channel, Expedia, Goldschlager, Google, Latina Magazine, Nintendo, Wella, Yahoo, to name a few.
As a spokesperson and guest artist, she has been featured in NBC's The Today Show with Tiki Barber, Patrick Swayze, Marc Anthony & Pitbull, The New York Times with Antonio Sabato Jr., ABC's Good Morning America, CBS's Evening News & Eyewitness News.
She starred in ¨Tango Finish¨ on Broadway with her dance partner Lee Van Bradley, "Falling in Rhythm", "Summer of Sam", and was the Choreographer for the independent film "Angela" & the latest Cablevision commercial.
As an instructor she has been invited to teach at Lincoln Center's Mid Summer Night Swing, City College, Columbia University, Brooklyn Museum of Art, The National Arts Club, NYU, Joffrey Ballet School to name a few.
For over 14 years she has successfully managed dance studios to success, training dance instructors and staff with her hip, savvy approach to the dance studio business at some of the largest dance studios in NYC.
In December 2011, Talía returned to the stages of her home country after 16 years of an international career, dancing a " Tribute to Yma Sumac".
TV Channel 9 named her "Top 5 best and more versatile dancers in the world".
Her biographical profile has been included in: Who's Who Among American Women, Who's Who in America and Who's Who in the World 1997-2011.
She is a member of The International Dance Council. She is the co-producer of Monday Nights Salsa at TAJ and the Summer Sunset Salsa Series in the Meatpacking District along with the Chelsea Improvement District offering free salsa lessons to the community, an event that has gained world recognition and is serving as a global model to popularize social dancing on the streets.
