Janet first became fascinated with photography after she got the opportunity to take pictures for a well-known horseman. Among other things, he writes horsemanship articles for Horse Canada Magazine and Horses ALL and it was while taking photographs to accompany these articles that Janet got hooked on photography.

Janet does not alter or heavily edit her photographs, preferring to show her subjects as she finds them. Janet lives in Calgary, Alberta and has Graduated from Photography School. She still attends SAIT to help her pursue her photography career. There is no end to learning.
