I'm a 33 yo returning to death after growing up with early Cannibal Corpse, Carcass, Suffocation and Deicide (stress early Deicide - lost their sound after Legion)..., and I don't get this 'slam' genre name. What the fuck is 'slam'?

How on earth do you get singles that fast? In any way are you using heel toe? If not, what's the technique that stops you from tensing the muscles when you try and go faster.

Has anybody listened to Legion lately? That is the most evil, unique sounding death CD I've ever heard. This is just getting old now... how glam is that solo...
