I wouldn't really consider half of these to be indie games. Stacking surely isn't. DoubleFine, while smaller than EA or Bioware is still a big team and the game was published by THQ. Journey is being published by Sony which is one of the big 3 publishers in the industry. How is that independent?

The thing with the elephant was, he used kid's face paint intentionally to make it safe for the elephant, How is keeping it in a warehouse and painting it with non-toxic paint much worse than keeping it in a cage in a zoo?

C'mon man, that's rubbish. Those were just the decades in which those genres were most popular. There is still great music of all those types being created today. It's just not in the limelight. Dig a little deeper into less than famous groups and you'll realize music is not dead ...

I feel like despite all the hype and time it's probably just going to be a basic run of the mill shooter like unto Serious Sam and Painkiller. Which really just isn't enough anymore.

I think alot of people miss the point of this whole thing. It's supposed to be a satire about the ignorance of the kinds of people who hang out at a "Country West" bar.
