The AIDS FUND is a comprehensive non-profit, community based AIDS Service Organization (ASO) which was established in 1983 to meet the needs of persons infected and affected by HIV/AIDS in the eastern region of Virginia which provides basic information and support services to people of the area The AIDS FUND current service area include the cities comprising the Hampton Roads Community, Eastern Shore, Isle of Wight & the Western , and Williamsburg, and the Tidewater area.

The AIDS FUND was incorporated in 1983 since then we have been leading the fight against HIV/AIDS in Hampton Roads. Today dawns a new era for The AIDS FUND. With the recent acquisition of The Williamsburg AIDS Network, (WAN) and the clients of The Eastern Carolina HIV/AIDS Partnership, (ECHAP), as well as our Peninsula office, The Peninsula AIDS Community Taskforce, (PACT), The AIDS Fund.
