826 LA / TabletopMedia / iPad 2 workshops
826 LA and TabletopMedia teamed up again to put on yet another great workshop dedicated to writing and moviemaking.
In this two hour workshop participants drafted a short story, staged characters and settings using a Tabletop Moviemaking kit and then filmed it using iPad 2 installed with iMovie. Participants got hands on moviemaking experience with these cool new devices. Participants worked in small collaborative groups to create a two minute movie (roughly) which was screened at the end of the workshop. Participants were at the center of the authoring experience; from pen to paper and fingers to touch screens!

826LA Tabletop/Green Screen Workshop
826LA and Brick Maier from Tabletopmedia combined forces to create a one of a kind Tabletop Moviemaking workshop in which each group made both a traditional Tabletop Movie AND a Green screen movie with the students in their own movie. All of this was done in a two hour weekend workshop hosted at 826LA East and 826LA West.
