CSX2196 was and is an awesome car, a truly unique piece of Shelby history. However, the 427 Cobra that would follow was designed by Ford and Shelby American, as was most everything Shelby touched at that point. So, no, this isn't the only Shelby designed car.

For the record, for those who refer to these as AC Cobra's, the correct name is actually Shelby Cobra....or Shelby American Cobra if you want to get really particular.
