Silas is a musician from Detroit Michigan. He was raised on the East Side and the West Side. Growing up he was influenced by rappers such as Tupac, DMX, Jay-Z, Nas, Shyne, Eminem, Canibus, and JadaKiss. Silas started rapping at age 12 making small mixtapes for his classmates to listen to. Silas is a rapper that raps about real life. His surroundings growing up and the everyday struggle of a black man in the ghetto. After the loss of his best friend in 2008 he dedicates his upcoming album to him. Silas also has a large fan base in Tallahassee and Miami, Florida were he lived for three years. Silas is also in a Detroit rap group called Detroit Ink with artist such as Willie So So, Moe Dogg, Black Yce, Profa C, and Ron T. There debut album " A Shot In The Thomb" is in stores now. And they are featured on a well successfull DVD called "Detroit Live." Silas main focus is to bring Detroit music to the four front of todays hip hop and put us on the map. With witty punch line and a crazy vocabulary Silas is positive and certain he can obatain that goal.
