Its not the same as saying that, my point was that even if people in the UK live a hard life, they were all educated at some point in their life and they all have the opportunity to better themselves if they really wanted to. I brought up Thailand as an example because not only are there real slums here, but the people have no opportunities, they cant better themselves, their well and truly fucked.
