This song conjures up memories of being 19 and living in San Francisco.

This is the most beautiful rendition of the National Anthem I have ever heard. It is filled with emotion, and that emotion reflects the mood of the nation during the turbulent 60s. I listen to this version over and over because it touches my emotions.

Whenever I hear Pete sing I remember being in my early twenties. His guitar and voice always gave me solace and made me feel like I wasn't alone- that someone else shared my feelings of love and loss. I love this rendition of Girl from the North Country, it has a dreamlike quality.

Pete's songs make the downtrodden and losers feel like there's hope. As he once said, "Rock won't eliminate your problems, but it will sort of let you dance all over them."

This is a really beautiful rendition- I enjoy listening to you sing this song.
