The Soundtrack was re-released recently with a found (in Canada) tape of the soundtrack intended for release. The Movie states the band was Loudstone however, a band with that name already existed so Giovanni changed the name to Magnet.

I wonder if he changed the string gauge, Koss's high pitch E started at 14 and went up from there. Koss used really heavy string gauges. I've used 12 some of my guitars it's tough to bend with such heavy gauges.
