Q: Why are the Spurs your favorite team?
A: The San Antonio Spurs have been the most successful franchise in the NBA for the past decade with 4 championships under their belt, but that isn't the reason why they're my favorite team. The Spurs are gracious winners and gracious losers. They respect every team in the league. They have a group of terrific guys, Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili, Bruce Bowen, who are not only athletically talented who always play as a team, but they're hardworking, modest, smart, and mature. All the starters and the reserves work very well together and play with such unselfishness. No ball hogging, no show offs, no one man show in this team. The Spurs don't play just for fame and fortune; they play for themselves, their team and fans. All they want to do is prove to themselves that they can overcome all obstacles of winning a championship.

Q: Why is Tim Duncan your favorite player?
A: Because he's 'Mr. Fundamental', he gets the job done. The Spurs are who they are because of him. He always plays with such dedication and determination. He pours his heart and soul into the game. Whether it's regular season or the finals, he always gives it his all. He's intelligent, a great leader and a very consistent player. Even in the most tense situations, he's always focused, calm and composed. As Brent Barry called him, he's a 'Peaceful warrior'. He's one of the top scorers, rebounders and blockers. He has won 6 MVP awards: 3 for finals, 2 for regular season, and 1 for an All-Star game. I think it's amazing that he first learned to play basketball when he was a high school freshman. I admire for he is as a person as well. He's down to earth, selfless, humble, generous and has a great sense of humor. Unlike a lot of other players, he's doesn't seek fame nor does he promote himself. He's a great role model for kids. He's involved in a lot of charities. Unlike a lot of other superstars, he finished college before going pro because of a promise he made to his mother before she passed.
