@danceohyeah in how to save a life, and some of the other cast peices, they did sing even if it wasn't zoomed and focused. if you read through some of the actors blogs, posts, etc (specifically kate walsh addresses it multiple times) they all sang at at least one point even if it wasn't a solo or...
