Robert William Gary Moore (4 April 1952 -- 6 February 2011),
On February 6th 2011, we lost one of the Finest Talents of our time, and he is missed deeply! I did not know Gary, but I feel close to him through his music. If you lived life, you will feel and understand the blues, if you don't, you have not lived. The love and the hurt he carried in his heart made me feel connected to him. He was a soulful man with a passion for love. Relating to his music was easy for me. He expressed many things that I feel in my own heart, so I wanted to express my appreciation of his music and his soul. I loved Gary's music and it will live on forever, with his soul. So remember; "Death is not the end. Death can never be the end. Death is the road. Life is the traveler. The Soul is the Guide." Rest in Peace my Dear! To live in the hearts we leave behind is not to die. Love and Peace!!
THE HURT INSIDE You wrestle with your conscience To free your better self. But did you think for one moment You could be someone else? Between a rock and a hard place, Is where you seem to be. You've been caught in a trap Between the devil and the deep blue sea. All those nights so lonely, All the tears that you cry. You can't hide From the hurt inside. The hurt inside. You're in a situation, Pray this time it will pass. But it feels like you're walkin' Over miles and miles of broken glass. Painted into a corner Where the sun never shines. Somebody's turned on the spotlight, You forgot to learn your lines. In the place you once called your heart There's a wound that's open wide.
You can't hide From the hurt inside. The hurt inside. When you're thinking 'bout the hard times Everyone's been through. But it won't make no difference, Seeing things the way you do. In this blue condition You must search for the light. Don't believe them when they tell you, You can't hold back the night. Between a rock and a hard place, Is where you'll always be. Caught in a trap Between the devil and the deep blue sea. So many words unspoken. So many times you never tried. You can't hide From the hurt inside. The hurt inside. No, you can't hide From the hurt inside. The hurt inside. There's one thing you can't hide, It's the hurt inside. The hurt inside.
REST IN PEACE
He sees her face in the mirror. But as he turns, she starts to fade. He hears her footsteps behind him. But when he looks, she's gone again.
He hears her voice in the darkness. As he awakes, she calls his name. He sees her shadow on the wall And counts her tears in the falling rain.
She has passed away A long, long time ago. Why she haunts him to this day, He'll never know.
Rest, rest in peace. You have gone, please leave me alone. Rest, rest in peace. You must go, heaven is your home now.
Rest, rest in peace. You have gone, please leave me alone. Rest, rest in peace. You must go, heaven is your home now.

Last song from the album Silent Waters, concluding the tale of Lemminkäinen whose mother rescues and resurects him from the the river of death in Tuonela, the land of the dead.
Lyrics:
Still searching for my way, the right way to be Still pondering what I've done I'm still thinking what I've said, still finding from within And all that I know is still not enough
I'm being held by the one Shadow tormenting my soul The curving neck of a swan The slow turning of a birds head
So white its plumes and feathers Its breast like the moon in water Silent and tranquil it moves On the river in the calm
I wander back on familiar roads I sense the marks I left on the hills I see the cuts and wounds of my deeds They make me muse on life
Up the hill and the mountain I look back, I look down There flows the River of Death And here the wind in my hair
