god i hate the word jap so much. it may have been almost 70 years ago, but that word still has a bitter connotation. and i know most people just use it jokingly but it's not really all that funny when you're on the other end of it and KNOW the history behind it and KNOW people who were hurt by that word. sad how ignorant people are :(
