An independent filmmaker, Mischa strives to work exclusively on socially and environmentally-conscious productions. In 2006 he produced, directed, and edited "Sustainable Table: What's On Your Plate?" -- a feature documentary about America's food system and health. Sustainable Table won "Best Documentary" at the Chamizal Film Festival and Sacramento Film Festival, and was an official selection of the Jackson Hole Film Festival.
Recently, he directed the documentary short "Legacy of Love" for the 4th annual 48-hour Elevate Film Festival. It screened for an audience of 3000 at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood and won the Audience Choice Award for Best Documentary.
Mischa graduated cum laude from Chapman University with a B.F.A. in Film Production, and a broadcast news and documentary production emphasis.
