Gossip is an easy trap to get into.

Whoever spreads slander is a fool. Proverbs 10:18

Proverbs 20:19 says to avoid someone who has a big mouth.
Proverbs 16:28 tells us a gossip separates close friends.

A timely word -- how good that is! Proverbs 15:23

Has anyone ever put words in your mouth? It's one of the worst tastes. I don't know which is worse. Other people's words or the people who believe it.

Have you ever watched someone trying to fit into a 'Christian' group only to be ignored and excluded? Please be aware of the people around you. There are so many hurting people that just need to be a part. So many times they will eventually give up and hang with the crowd that WILL accept them. The group that claims no association with our Lord. Their blood will be on YOUR hands when judgement day comes.

How does it make you feel to be ignored...deliberately?
Does it make you feel like a nothing?
What if you don't know why you're being ignored?
How are you supposed to respond?
There's no way you can know the answer to the last question because being ignored is a form of abuse, even if you do know why.
Don't ignore people in your life: family, friends, co-workers, your students.
It really does make them feel like a nothing.
What if Jesus ignored you because you didn't say what He wanted to hear, when He wanted to hear it and you didn't say it the right way.
Think about it.
