I have felt called to inspire people to live awesome lives since the night I delivered the valedictorian speech at my community college. That was in the early 1980s, when there was no model or curriculum for this type of work. So instead I pursued a business degree and spent the next 20+ years building a career in the direct marketing industry. And although that career brought what many people long for --lofty job titles and a nice paycheck--I never lost my desire to make a difference in peoples lives.
