I am a strong, well rounded Puerto Rican woman. I believe in standing up for what you believe in. Thus, this could complicate life. But, it is better to be who you are than what you are not!

I am proud to be related by marriage to the great nephew of Julia Ward Howe.
Her life and legacy have been an inpiration to myself as well as millions of women in this world.
It is so awesome getting first hand history of herself and the family that led to ours by generations. I am a strong woman as was she. I believe in fighting for women in this day who suffer from Domestic Violence and the loss of their children through this unjustly system. Domestic Violence Occurs Everyday! Remember their Names! DCFS is never a perfect system. Adoptions are not always the best answer. Women are the legacy of our children. And I believe in fighting against the cruelty of women, children and animals in many aspects of life.

Life is full of mistakes. But, if you learn from them, you have survived it all! It is what you learn that makes you a stronger person.
