Swing dancing is a fun and lively dance that has evolved considerably since its early days at the Savoy Ballroom in New York. This legacy has left us with an array of swing dance steps to teach you in our dance classes that will impress both you, your friends and your family alike.

Through our progressive Swing Dance courses in Epsom and Bromley, where no previous dance experience is required, Surrey Jive will introduce you to the 'lost art' of partner dancing. How far you take this opportunity is really up to you! For many it will remain a social event where you can meet new people and share your love of Swing Jive and Lindy Hop. Or like us, you may really get the 'Jitterbug!' We not only fell in love with this 'cool' style of dance but quickly grew to appreciate the fabulous music and fashion that came from the 1940's and 1950's.

So whether it's keeping fit, meeting new people or progressing your previous Ceroc, Rock n' Roll or Ballroom Jive ... remember, everyone can Swing Jive, it only takes practice!
