@bronxville305226 I found out that it's by an artist (or artists) named Greg and Steve, and it was released in 1987 so I was off by one year. Oh well, so it was 1st grade instead of Kindergarten. Interesting sidenote- after I found the artist I had a facebook conversation with my old classmates...
