Jordan Pruitt was born in Loganville, Georgia to Tim and Julie Pruitt. She also has a little brother Jared.
She began singing at a very early age in fact, she began singing in public when she was only four years old. Over the next few years, she continued to please crowds, large and small with her music, including appearances at Centennial Olympic Park and Six Flags over Georgia.
In 2004, she sent out a demo tape to producer Keith Thomas, who liked what he heard and within months she auditioned for him and was immediately signed to his production company, Levosia Entertainment, LLC.
Hollywood Records signed her to a recording contract in 2005, putting her along side many of other talented Disney artists. She also lent her singing talents to the Totally Awsome Christmas Vol. 1 CD, singing Santa Dont Stop.
In 2006, she performed at Disneys Youth Marketing Conference with Aly and AJ. She also released her debut single and video in 2006 for the song Outside Looking In which she co-wrote with Keith Thomas and Robin Scoffeld. The single is also featured in the Disney Channel Original movie Read It and Weep, and is on the Girl Next CD (with singles from other Disney girls such as Hillary Duff, Kelly Clarkson and Aly and AJ).
She will be moving up to Nashville, Tennessee to live there permanently so she can better pursue a career in music.
So whats next for this young, talented singer and songwriter who is a musician because it is her passion? Well, another single, We Are Family will be on the Air Puppies DVD due out this summer, and we should probably be expecting her debut album by the end of the year.
In winter 2006 she is touring with the gang from High School Musical in the High School Musical Tour.
