@deadbirdsings thanks, this is the dumbest thing I've read in a long time. You make too many assumptions. Different styles of music require different mic regiments. Try making a metal/rock mix with just room mics. FAIL.

This is pretty irrelevant, mixing goals are different nowadays compared to back then. Slapping a brickwall limiter is not the same as the song being released today. There are so many settings on a limiter that can make it sound better than this as well. What was the attack/release/ratio at least?...

Pretty cool, theres something that does'nt sound quite right at the transitions around 1:41, and after the fill at 1:48. Otherwise it sounds well programmed.

@macryscaped I've never heard anything good come out from people who went to school for "mixing sound system", the purpose of the video was to showcase a drum cover, not his recording ability, so who cares? Good drum cover man.

This is pretty damn great, I love playing that song too. You have great form on your cymbals, you don't beat them like they owe you money. Too many drummers beat their poor cymbals and crack them prematurely. Looks like a nice DW kit too :)

this video would be way better without the stupid screaming of the crowd that make no sense
