Q: What kind of bit does Nikki go in?
A: Nikki shows in a long-shanked combination hackamore, sometimes called a hackabit. Nikki has two of them; one with a straight, soft rubber bit, the other with a waterford bit. She primarily shows in the rubber one.
Q: When you bought her, did you know Nikki had the scope to do what she does now?
A: No. We had never considered whether Nikki could jump that high; she was supposed to be my hunter, and so we had no reason to expect her to jump higher than 4'.
Q: How tall are you and Nikki? She looks huge!
A: Actually, Nikki is not even 16 hands. I am about 5'1'' and I make her look big.

i love your videos and love your riding style. i'd let you hop on my gelding in a heartbeat. i wish you a speedy recovery and know that shoulder injuries are the pits! i know you can tell me go kick rocks if you want but having worked in a pt clinic and been a shoulder patient myself several times if your pt can do kinesiotape on your shoulder it will help a lot! look forward to seeing you ride in 2012!

i was just watching your videos and your a awesome rider! im just letting you know that if u ever want to get rid of nikki i will buy her! lol she is an awesome jumper! its funny tht her name is nikki bc my sorrel appendix gelding (who isnt even half as good as nikki) his name is Nick ! so i wasnt planning on commenting but i just had to let you know :) if you want to watch me jump nick go to my channel @ fishybsk2 :) and comment!
