@minimumpayne i remember reading that Warner rejected the follow up to III and ed just decided to give VH a break, hence why Cherone left and the Ed started drinkin again and then had health issues. Its great to see them back again, just a shame it took so damn long!

im a huge VH fan and i travelled from the UK to toronto in 1998 to see them live and it was fantastic! I was gonna do the same in 2004 to see this tour cause it had been 6 years but i ended up not going...this reminds me that i didn't miss anything! Im glad i didn't see this tour....EVH is all ov...

@DarthKazi i agree. i was at this show and the band were on fire! Ed played great and i had never heard him sound so good! VH3 was a great album but most fans just wanted Roth or Hagar and the traditional VH sound....whatever that is. Shame really :-(

@mrrekrap1 lol. C;mon dude, Phil doesn't suck....if anything, hes actually underated as a guitarist! Far better than Pete Willis ever was, although theres no mistaking that Pete was important in the first 5 years. yes, they are very polished, but there one of the best UK bands of all time.

@247Therocker who said JE hated PW??? Pete was apparantly a tosser who was always playing drunk and causing fights and after they gave him 1000 last chances, they eventually sacked him. Good guitarist, but PC was technically far better!

@DanimalRegina its funny you say that, im a leppard fan to and i cant stand VC. i met him years ago when DL were on tour and he was a total prick like i guessed he was. Phil collen on the other hand was a gentleman. VC is an asshole!

Great song, Aura is 1 hell of a singer but i still prefer the band when it was just Jim singing, 1986-1991.

@yknottry1 i disagree with ya bud. Im a fan of THE SILENCERS from way before JJ and AURA joined. Check the 2nd album out, its called A BLUES FOR BUDDHA, all songs written and sung by Jim o'neil, fantastic, by far, one of the all time greatest Scottish albums. God Bless.
