SupaNova (Nova) represents the last of a dying breed of true emcees.
Born and raised in Flatbush, Brooklyn, Nova comes from an era of hip
hop where lyrics and skills were most important. "I started rapping in
high school around 97, 98" says SupaNova. "I began taking music
seriously after high school around 2001." This is when New Rap Order
was formed, a collective of young aspiring nyc artist who decided to
make music for a living. He is now living that reality. SupaNova is an
artist who is focused on making a serious impact in the music world.
Inspired by a wide range of musical influences, life experiences,
emotions, and a ny state of mind, Nova creates Hip Hop music from his
own unique perspective, staying true to the ideals of musicality,
lyricism and delivery. As a performer, SupaNova is showman. He has rocked stages all thru
out NY, the Tri-State area, and other Eastern Coast cities. Yet from
the artist's perspective, there's nothing like home. "I'm from
Brooklyn, NY. Kings County Hospital. NYC (venues) are always my
favorite best places to perform. Especially throughout the streets of
Brooklyn. I love performing outside, with the people." Already an accomplished artist, with an award winning music video for
his hit song "Black Girl." SupaNova says, "I plan to be rocking mics
for years to come, with a track record of great albums and
collaborations with other acclaimed artist. I want to establish New
Rap Order as an entity that is associated with quality music and
product." As far as New York City goes, SupaNova came, saw, and he
conquered. Nova's next step is to take his platform to an
international stage, in search of fans who will appreciate his true
school brand of hip hop music. But, without question, Brooklyn still
is and always will be home.
