Sunday Drive Bye is an Atlanta rock act that grabs it's audience with a unique brand of high powered guitar driven rock with an emotional vulnerability that's reminiscent of early 90's alternative (Pixies, Sonic Youth, Dinosaur Jr.) and more modern day melodic rock (Foo Fighters, Death Cab for Cutie, Pinback). There is a sincere energy that emanates from what these lads do and it is obvious from the first note that vibrates to your ears, that deliberate care has been taken to craft an elegant yet sometimes ironically self-conscious musical creation. Original, yet never seeing the need to re-invent the wheel, most of Sunday Drive Bye's tunes have a ready accessibility that pricks the listener's ears with a fresh new voice.
