Summur Reign Revolution is an experimental rock band based out of buffalo, ny that was active from 1998-2005, and then disbanded. However, the band has been faithfully working on their 4rth studio album for the past year. The record, should hopefully be coming out before the end of 2009. The 4 songs demo "Queen Of Martyrs", was recorded and released in 2008, to give listeners a preview of the energetic new direction of the band. The band is fronted by Azim Hyzy, who is not only incredibly entertaining, but is also tremendously deep souled vocalist and multi-instrumentalist. The rhythm section includes the next Reinhardt generation, with Todd on bass, and Erik on drums respectively. Matt Heiss handles the 6-string duties with emphatic enthusiasm. His textural guitar playing brings in the much needed fresh resonance that the band has spent years searching for. SRR will be spending the rest of 2009 bringing their "one of a kind" stage show all across the Buffalo, NY and surrounding regions, so make sure you catch them at least once before you die. Take it from SRR fans, it is an experience not easily forgotten.
