About Me:

First, the basics. I use keys to open doors. I am now "it". I am about to die. Red Sumerias needs food badly! I shot the food! AAAAaaaahch! Oh, and I sang/bassed for Disinter (WV Disinter I think people sometimes say when the other Disinters threaten them with disinterment).

Let's see... I started this mebbe 21 days ago (since this is the 22nd song a day - goofy how that works). I, first and foremost, am a bass player/singer. I, last and barely, am a guitar player. By my estimate, I've been playing guitar for... well... um... 21 days, which might explain my inimitable "hesitant and shaky" playing style. I'm currently writing a song a day. As far as I know, I'm the 1st death folk artist to do so. People often say to me, "Sumerias, just what is death folk? Is it just death vocals belted out into two $5.00 mics over top of an acoustic guitar with 10-year old strings and mixed through Audacity, or is it something more?" Well, my legions, until I get enough money for $10 mics, it might not be much more. So, what exactly separates me from other death folk artists you hear every day on the radio and Mtv? Simple. I'm TRUE folk death and they're FALSE folk death.

	sumerias1 (2 weeks ago) Leaving town again. So behind on the death folk.... I've got another song ready and a cover that I'll hopefully post in a few days. Nat (my bro) is doin' a lot better. He can swallow now and he's been moved to a rehabilitation center to help him get his walkin's back, so things are looking super-optimistic. Knock on fake wooden desk.
	sumerias1 (1 month ago) My brother is pretty hurt, but doing better. He was in a bad car accident and lost a good deal of movement in his right side, but he's regained a comforting degree of that movement in a small time, and he's in stable condition now. He has some brain stem injuries affecting his speech and swallowing. It is quite possible that he'll regain them both. We just don't know when. He is conscious -- just in pain and unable to express himself vocally, which has to suck. Thanks for all the concern. We appreciate it. The next few weeks, Daily Death Folk might not be so daily, but I'll churn 'em out when I can. Thanks for watching!
