Sukey Molloy is a developmental movement educator, and performing artist of children's music, movement and song. She is the founder of PlayMove&Sing and the Developmental PlaySkills programs located in Nyack, NY. She has been creating and teaching movement programs for children since 1985, and performs in early childhood settings in the New York, New Jersey, Connecticut tri-state area. Sukey gives teacher training workshops for early childhood educators, teaches mommy & me and pre-school classes for infants, toddlers and early childhood learners in movement song and play, and teaches a course in sensory-motor learning for classroom educators. She is certified with the IAIM to teach classes in guided infant touch, and received her developmental movement training with Dr. Garland O'Quinn, Jr., founder of the Association for Kinesensory Teaching, and Developmental Gymnastics International. Sukey draws from her former career as a professional modern dancer with the Solomon's Company Dance in NYC, and as a performing vocalist with chant and choral groups. She is currently working on her second children's music CD, performs regularly with the Circle Song Band, and is busy planning a PlayMove&Sing and PlaySkills movement, song and playtime DVD!
