hey, you're a big fan of angelina jolie, right? angie was in berlin last week, you know. she presented her new film "in the land of blood and honey" at the festival berlinale. it's her first movie that she has directed and all the critics gave her excellent reviews. i'm really looking forward to seeing this movie! i dunno if the film has already started in the uk, maybe you've already seen it. her last movie salt was also very good, even if the ending wasn't really satisfying. maybe they plan a sequel or something. anyway, this lady is really a role model for all the young girls out there, a real power woman. : )
btw how's the weather in lovely britain? here in berlin it's getting better and better (what means warmer). even my dog likes to go outside again! : )

hi emma, i'm sorry my answer comes that late, but that's just me. i'm a little bit flakey sometimes. : ) so don't get mad at me. it's just my nature (weak apology, i know).
yeah, people always think of hitler when they think of germany. it's the same in america. but what can i say? i think the germans have to deal with it, even if it's unfair. but it's part of their history and people will never forget what the nazis did in world war 2. i mean, like i said, when you visit a place like buchenwald, you really get upset and you start feelin hostility towards germany. but that's the past and germany isn't the only country in the world with a dark history. for example, take a look at the us and what we did in vietnam or how we tortured detainees at guantanamo or in afghanistan. or look what happens in north africa now. that's pure cruelty! damn, sometimes i really feel ashamed of being human and i think this world would be a better place without us.

no, i have never been to auschwitz, but i have been to buchenwald, another concentration camp. it was really sad and depressing to see all of this. but i think everyone should see a place like this once in a lifetime, to understand the tragedy of what really happened in world war 2.
yeah, my german is gettin better and better, but i'm still learning. but i already can insult people in german, i think that's the most important thing! :D yes, i think i still have a little southern accent, even when i try to speak german, it always sounds so lazy. : ) everyone speaks so fast here, sometimes it's really hard to understand what they say, even if you know the words.
