I'm a mother, wife, artist, friend, fellow human being. I'm an idealist I suppose. My children call me an aging hippie. I don't know if that's how you'd describe me but I do know that I cherish clean air and clean water. I don't like seeing every piece of available real estate turned into mini malls and housing developments. I'd like all the other creatures and ecosystems sharing this planet to be able to survive our arrogant stupidity. If that makes me an aging hippie then so be it. I'll wear that label with pride. The older I get (56) the angrier I become at the greed and corruption of the corporatocracy that has devoured our democracy. We the people really don't have much of a say in what happens any longer, except every 4 years, and I don't put much faith in that either.
