@Jamez20091 I know that. But you can't update it to 1.8.1 or any other versions by 'force update'. The only way is to replace minecraft.jar [ver1.0.0] with [ver1.8.1] in run, %appdata%, .minecraft [folder]. I got mine by doing that. But it's offline.
