CH-124 12439 from 406 Squadron, CFB Shearwater. Crashed at Schenectady airport, NY on 4 Aug 1991.

After doing some research, this is what I found. Royal New Zealand Navy SH-2G(NZ) NZ3604 heavy landing on HMNZS Te Mana (F111) while steaming in the Cook Strait on 20 Feb 2002.

Obviously most if not all of the footage came from United Artists' The Final Countdown (1980). Great video. Thank you for uploading this jewel.

F8U-1 Bu No. 145374 from VF-211, Carrier Air Group 21 (tail code NP) onboard USS Lexington CVA 16, 17 Nov 1960. CDR H. C. Lovegrove ejected.

The aircraft has tailcode GB which means it belonged to VAP-62. The unit lost an A3D-2P (RA-3B after 1962) on 29 July 1960 from the carrier Saratoga. No other VAP-62's A-3s were lost during carrier ops. I believe this video shows the July 1960 accident.
