Coming from Birmingham, Alabama, an undisputable rising star known as Sublyminal , born Eric Marcelle Flood. As talented as they come, Eric M. Flood was dubbed the pseudonym 'Sublyminal' due to his cleverness with words, unique lyricism, and wordplay. In a time where there are so many "so called" rappers, Sublyminal understands completely just how much of an obligation he has to separate himself from the pools of others, establishing himself as a true artist who's creativity is undoubtedly that of authenticity.

CEO, artist, executive producer, entrepreneur, businessman, etc are all just a few titles held by this guy...with an immense passion for his craft he began writing song lyrics early on in his teen years, but never really taking it too seriously, thinking that it was a dream that was beyond far fetched to say the least. But as years transpired, incorporating his unquestionable advanced sense of business with what was known as pure talent recognized by many, he began to take his craft more seriously around 2008. That's when he began recording his first studio album "Controlling My Own Destiny" which released in the summer of 2010 (unofficially), yet going on to sell in large numbers on his independent label 'Eminent Entertainment', earning him unquestionable recognition as one of the city's greats. Understanding the value of true artistry and creativity, he strives to continue making unique music that is both timeless, yet lyrically inclined. Listening to Sublyminal's flow and razor sharp delivery definitely separates him from most of his peers in this hip hop game, hence, one must definitely be prepared to rewind the track every once in a while to catch on to what this clever artist has said so cleverly, yet seemingly effortlessly.

Upon releasing "Controlling My Own Destiny", Sublyminal continued on to perform at venues both locally and across the nation gaining fans, earning recognition and respect from his fans and audiences, and artists alike for his lyrical abilities and stage presence. Devising his own marketing and promotional strategy to catapult himself, solidifying himself as not just an artist, but a brand name became his mission, thus 'Team Eminent' was born, consisting of models, business executives, producers, artist, street teams, photographers, camera crews, etc all of which plays a part in the inevitable success of one who's undoubtedfully as determined as they come. He went on to venture out towards the west coast in the Los Angeles area as well as the Bay area where they too continues to show him tremendous love and support as a well rounded artist of diversity. An innovative, strategic thinking, self confident, charismatic personable artist with an aura as such is definitely bound to accumulate fans in larges numbers. Whether it be an immense commercial success or whether it be underground success like no other artist has ever imagined, it is without a doubt a known fact that this guy is going places. With the work ethic, ambition, perseverance, diligence, and determination that Sublyminal possesses, he will definitely be around for a long time producing and delivering hot tracks that'll keep ears open wide and heads moving .

As said by Sublyminal himself, "success isn't measured in dollar amounts, glitz, and glamour, etc. It is being able to make a living doing WHATEVER it is that one loves doing and is most passionate about...that's true success..." So, with that being said, whether it be trememdous commercial success, or just enough to make it in the underground circuit, music IS the life of Eric 'Sublyminal' Flood. This guy IS going to be around for a while it seems...so stay tuned.
