About SUBJAZZ
Subjazz - also known as Karl and Knut - is a project based choreographic foundation.
CHOREOGRAPHY:
We completed our first full-lenght performance "bloom" in Oslo, April 1st 2009. "Bloom" was sent on a Norwegian National Your(Riksteateret) in spring 2011. We have also done 3 choreographies for Oslo Danse Ensemble ("Living Rooms" - 2008 and "Styx" - 2010, "Kruhks" - 2011), SYTYCD Scandinavia 2008, SYTYCD Norway Season 1 and 2, Wallmanns Salonger in Oslo and numerous works for schools and studios in Norway and Sweden.
DANCE:
As dancers we have worked in the jazz dance company Oslo Danse Ensemble since 1997 and done works by choreographers such as Alex Magno, Wes Veldink, Christopher Huggins, Jo Stromgren, Merete Lingjaerde, Toni Ferraz, David Byer, Billy Goodson and the renowned Mia Michaels to name a few.
TEACHING:
As Subazz we also teach through the team teach principle and have taught at leading collages, schools and studios for dance in Norway, Sweden, France and Switzerland.
Greatly passionate and determained about our work and developement we always strive after different ways to express ourselves in a technical, physical and scenic aestheatic.
