About this user
In the rapidly growing competitive cyberathletic community, top tier teams are formed and disintegrated in the blink of an eye. Suave Gaming, in an effort to help bring legitimacy to what is becoming a very lucrative industry, has worked to establish a team that is based upon friendship, loyalty, and teamwork, with members throughout the United States of America.
Suave Gaming (also known as 'smf') was established in 1999 by Reed Scarfino and Adam Minx. Suave, as a whole, has been successful at the highest echelon of gaming.
Our first step into the competitive scene was with Quake 3: Rocket Arena in 1999. In 2002 we formed a team under the name "Deviant Objectives" as a side project, competing in Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast. We continued to play JK2 under "deviant" until the release of the Soldier of Fortune 2 Beta. A year later we burst into the Wolfenstein scene with our Enemy Territory squad, quickly working our way up the ranks of already established organizations. In 2003 we became a powerhouse in the Call of Duty series. From 2003-2007, Suave competed in Call of Duty 1, 2 and 4 - as well as Q3:RA3 and QuakeLive.
While we have consistently excelled in competitive gaming, Suave members have also worked hard to achieve real-life success.
Our members, past and present, include the following: a successful Atlanta-based attorney, a former wide-receiver for the 2000 Northwestern University Big-Ten Championship Team, a number of IT professionals, a number of top-honors academic students, and several Eagle Scouts.
Additionally, our team is comprised entirely of individuals over the age of 21, all of whom are at least high school graduates.
