@IslamsVisionofWorld actually its thought to have been evolved from Simeon immune virus. Bush hunters were infected with siv from hunting chimpanzees. The heavy bleeding of the animal and high incidence of open wound injury to the hunters and would have been an opportune chance of transmission.
