For our STUBAI Tirol, Trekking, Light und Twin Peaks crampon models, there are perfect fitting STICK-ON anti-balling plates available to buy pre-cut. But even with other models you can still use the world's lightest and thinnest anti-balling plate. For you we have produced the STUBAI STICK-ON UNIVERSAL, which can be fitted to practically any shaped crampon. Just cut with scissors or a carpet knife -- and that's it!
Supplied as (Art. 927019): 2 pieces - each 30 x 12 cm.

Fitting of the pre-cut STUBAI STICK-ON anti-balling system to our Tirol, Trekking, Light and Twin Peaks crampon models, followed by a test run on our own local Stubai Glacier.
Before fitting the STICK-ON, the crampons must be free from dirt and grease -- see also our clip 'STUBAI Mountainsport TV -- crampons -- STICK-ON removal and cleaning'.
An anti-balling plate is an accessory which will not generally last as long as a crampon. As soon as you have any doubt about the condition of your STUBAI STICK-ON, change it.
CAUTION: With use over time, dirt and water seepage will damage the sticky layer around the edges, and it will eventually lose its stickiness. The area which affects the hold and effectiveness of the plate is where the upper and lower layers are stuck together directly. Light lifting of the STUBAI STICK-ON anti-balling plate around the edges of the metal is not necessarily an indication that the plate needs to be changed.

Removal of a used STUBAI STICK-ON anti-balling plate, and subsequent cleaning of the crampon before a new one can be fitted.
For the plate to stick properly, the metal must first be free from grease and dirt.

Montage der für unsere Steigeisenmodelle Tirol, Trekking, Light und Twin Peaks erhältlichen Antistollplatten STUBAI STICK-ON mit anschließendem Funktionstest am heimatlichen Stubaier Gletscher.
Vor dem Aufkleben müssen die Steigeisen fett- und staubfrei gemacht werden - siehe dazu Clip "STUBAI Bergsport TV - Steigeisen - STICK-ON Demontage und Reinigung".
Eine Antistollplatte ist ein Verschleißteil mit in der Regel kürzerer Lebensdauer als Steigeisen. Sobald Zweifel an der Funktion und Haltbarkeit der STUBAI STICK-ON Antistollplatten bestehen, tauschen Sie diese aus.
ACHTUNG: Je nach Einsatz wird die Klebeschicht an den Rändern von eintretendem Wasser und Schmutz beschädigt werden und mit der Zeit nicht mehr kleben. Auch bei neuen Steigeisen kann sich die Platte am Rand etwas anheben. Entscheidend für den Halt und somit Funktion ist aber der Bereich, in dem Klebeschicht von Ober- und Unterseite direkt aufeinandertreffen. Das leichte Ablösen der STUBAI STICK-ON Antistollplatten an den Rändern des Metallkörpers alleine ist noch keine Indikation, die Platte auszutauschen.
