@BBoyQuest1 .... the coast guard rescue swimmer program USED to be in conjunction with the Navy program. That is no longer the case. We (Coast Guard) have our own 18 week rescue swimmer school preceded by a 6 month apprentice program and followed with a 3 week EMT school.
