I own the same car and model year, mine is also an E34 525i '89. That is very impressive stats for a long hauler GT yuppie era car.

It appears that the car is capable of going more than 260KM. Love the W140, its an amazing car, very robust, and well engineered. I drive an S600 W140, unfortunately here in North America its electronically limited to 130MPH. The ultimate uber cruiser.

I drive an S600 and a mini cooper beat me, because he sorta cheated by running a false start. All in all I'm not ashamed to have losed to a mini. Had it been in an open highway, we all know who would've been the winner.
