I prefere the Kurt Moll recording on youtube. Probably cause I'm a German enthusiast and hate to see the language changed.... Does anyone else think Pape does strange things with his vowels (i.e. "salvation" @ 1:39) ?

What I don't understand is that sound she makes like she's trying to clear gravel out of her throat before each note but it keeps coming back. Is that just an artistic choice? lol

It's a low C. Not everyone can hit it but there are plenty out there who can go WAY lower with better projection to boot.

@strodden By the way I have been turning a lot more than a quarter turn and nothing seems to be happening. My guitar tech has never mentioned any problems with the truss rod before so I have no reason to believe it's been damaged in any way...

Nice playing. I have a 2005 deluxe and I have to say I did not like the pickups at all so I switched them out for Tex Mex. They just didn't sound "straty" to me. I think Fender was going for that mix between humbucker and singles and ended up falling short of them both....nice licks though!

This interviewer says several things that made me think that he hadn't done his homework about the festival. I would definitely be prepared before doing this...

I hear a lot of Tommy Emmanuel in his playing. Or maybe it's the other way around. Or maybe it's just Chet Atkins in both their playing lol.

@mjg6string Joe Bonamassa incorporates this kind of stuff into his blues playing a lot. I think when it's added in for the occasional "holy crap!" effect it can really mix things up in a blues solo...

This guy changed my life. This stuff is easy to forget and not put into practice but I've found that I CANNOT have a bad day when I remember to apply it.
