Yeah... Good ear. Mclaughlin has had a tremendous influence on serious guitar players. Including Mr.Vai. As great as Steve is, he's quite clever in taking others styles and melodies to fit his own work of original composition. Sometimes, I get a bit annoyed by it.

I don't know how rehearsed John and Carlos were on this reunion but the original LP was absolute perfection in comparison to this performance.
