Was stationed at Korat Air Base in Thailand in 1968/69 and we had 40 of those stationed there as EC-121s. Heard that sound day and night for a year and never got tired of it.

Just got back form Nashville after seeing Bob Seger in concert last night and this was one of my favorite songs in the concert.............along with all the others they did. :-) If you haven't seen him live, you're missing one of the great musical treasures of our age.

I was stationed at Bergstrom AFB in Austin first arriving 12-31-65 not knowing a soul. Later that evening went to the Jade Room with about six other new arrivals for New Years Eve and LHE was playing. I knew right then I was going to absolutely love Austin. :-))

The first 50 seconds of this film was the view out of my "office" window while stationed there and running the avgas fuel farm in 68 & 69. Two Connies crashed off the end of the runway while I was stationed there.
