Similar educational problems exist here in Australia. A lot of high school kids enter their first year of university lacking fundamental math and English skills. There's this sudden 'panic' in which they have to catch up before they can begin their degrees.

Chickens can actually be pretty nasty under some circumstances - I guess 'cos they're really good survivors. But, yeah, I love my pet chooks more than a lot of people.

I think it's amazing that some evangelicals think they have a 'free ticket' into heaven just because they accept Christ as their saviour. If there is a god, I don't think he's letting anyone in just 'cos they belong to any particular denomination or faith.

Understanding the marvelous complexity of nature and the universe requires time and great effort. The guy on the left is not willing to invest in that kind of effort - it's much easier to stay ignorant and try and force Dawkins to explain every single fact and assertion he makes.

NURBS are a lot of fun to work with, and boolean solid operations are very easy to do. I also love Rhino's precision. About the only thing I find I need to be careful with, is making sure that when I create solids - I don't end up with naked edges.
