The Digital Teachers Project is a joint project of Streetside Stories and the KIPP Bay Area middle schools in the East Bay and San Francisco. Through Digital Teachers, Streetside Stories trains KIPP teachers to integrate digital storytelling into their core curriculum classes, supports them in the implementation process, and recognizes the teachers and students for their mastery of digital storytelling.
Media Arts projects created by Bay Area Aspire Public School students and educators. Streetside Stories is the media arts training provider to the Bay Area Aspire Schools for this grant.
The Teachers Edge Project is a professional development grant for artists and educators provided by the Department of Education Office of Innovation and Improvement.
Educators in the program are trained to integrate media arts into their core curriculum and will create projects with their students in the classroom.
