About streetlight

Streetlight have been around since 2004, have released and toured a debut mini-album (2007) which has sold close to 1000 copies, played over 100 shows (including Big Day Out), and supported countless National bands.

Streetlight have recently come out of the studio once again with a bunch of tunes that will be released as an EP this year!

Streetlight

Since their inception in 2004, through lineup changes and over 50 live shows, Streetlight have solidified their eclectic mash of alternative, rock and experimental leanings into a unique and fresh sound. With a loyal local and online fanbase and a reputation for their electric live shows, 2006 has been a very successful year for the band. After the successful release of their debut single 'Attack That Gentleman' to a sold-out Amplifier Bar, with the impending release of their debut album in early 2007, and with plans for extensive national tours, 2007 looks to be a big year for Streetlight.

2006 in brief:

- Won the Next Big Thing competition statewide in July.
- The Poet's Paper Boat, Sunshine Apartments and Attack That Gentleman recieving high rotation on RTRFM, airplay on Triple J and are soon to be released to other national stations.
- Toured Adelaide with Gyroscope in August.
- Supported Snowman, Wolf & Cub and The Valentino's.
- Played over 30 local and interstate shows between May and December.
- Released debut single 'Attack That Gentleman' to a sold-out Amplifier Bar in December.
- Touring W.A in December in support of debut single 'Attack That Gentleman'.
