My name is Dave Morris- my addiction to rock music began when I first heard the crunching guitar riff of Free`s "All Right Now" in 1970. Since then, much of my time has been spent songwriting, gigging, recording and just enjoying music. Along the way, I`ve played in several amazing bands, and have built up an extensive archive of music and video.
I`m currently working on releasing material through my label, Strawman Records.This site features many of the bands I've been in, past and present, and contains original songs and cover versions of some of my favourites.I`m now a full-time musician, writing, playing live and recording with my beautiful and talented lady, Lisa, who sings with our band Secondnature. I`m also lucky enough to have my fabulous daughter Ruby playing bass, and my son Jimmy, who`s an amazing drummer, in the band.My youngest daughter, Izzy, has just started singing at a few of our gigs; she`s got a great voice and loads of stage presence - we love you, Twiggy! I`m still in touch with many of the musicians I`ve worked with in the past; hopefully, we`ll be doing a few Deliverance gigs in the not too distant future; so be warned!
